It’s always been a dream of mine to create a glamour studio. I love it when someone looks at their pictures, smiles, and says, “Is that really me?”
As a photographer, my mission is to showcase the light I see in you.
But, there’s more….
I want to take that moment captured in a photograph one step further. I want to help women feel beautiful every day of their lives, not just in photographs. That’s why I’m offering skincare classes. Why? It’s because we often focus more on others than we do on ourselves. I can relate. I sometimes “let myself go” in pursuit of other goals.
In fact, the last two years I’ve focused primarily on building my photography business. After working from my home office for two years, my dream came true when I moved to my own studio in The Dils Center at 521 Market Street in Parkersburg. I am thrilled!
However, I’ve focused so much on building my business that I stopped focusing on ME. I stopped working out on a regular basis. (I don’t have as much energy as I used to.) I stopped focusing on my beauty routine. (It showed in my skin.) I knew I had to make some changes.
Now, I’m back on track with healthy eating and working out. I am also pampering my skin with the number one skincare brand in America — Rodan + Fields.
I know what you’re thinking. “I see R + F in my Facebook Newsfeed every day. Can it really be that good?”
Yes, it’s that good…so good, in fact, that I’ve added it to my photo shoot makeovers.
Let me preface this next statement by saying that I’m always a skeptic. If you or anyone else tells me that something is good, I go into full-scale research mode before I believe you. I’ll research something for weeks — often months — before I draw my own conclusion about a product. I have to see it to believe it.
I researched Rodan + Fields. I tried it. After seeing the results in my skin, I’m a fan.
I originally became interested in Rodan + Fields when I saw the age-defying results it had on my friend’s skin. Now that I use it, I’m seeing long-term issues I’ve had with hyper-pigmentation disappear. It takes five minutes in the morning and five minutes at night to apply R+F to my face. I’ve stopped wearing foundation. My husband has even commented on how good my skin looks.
That’s why I’m offering skincare classes to women — and men — who want to take better care of themselves. Don’t worry. There’s no heavy-handed sales pitch. It’s my way of sharing what works for me and what we’ll be using in my studio. If you love it, you’re free to buy it. If not, you can enjoy a little skincare pampering during the class and when you book a makeover photo session with me.
I want you to love the skin you’re in.
Everyone who attends my skincare classes receives a complimentary $100 voucher toward a photo shoot with me. It’s my way of thanking you for stopping by my studio. To get updates about what I’m doing in my studio, you can LIKE my Facebook page.
