Accepting Applications for the Senior Model Program

First, I’d like to express thanks to my family and some unexpected heroes who have stepped up to help during my studio transition. We’re working hard to get everything ready for the official grand opening next week. I can hardly wait to show everyone the new studio. (It sure beats taking pictures in the corner of my basement!)

I’ve also made some changes this year that I’m excited to roll out. I have a HUGE studio space, an office, and a hair/makeup/wardrobe room. (I’m more than a wee bit excited about my storage closet, too, but that’s just me….) I’m currently working on Valentine’s sessions, but senior picture season is just around the corner. That’s why I’m ready to announce my new program for current high school juniors.

Deb Lorentz Photography High School Senior Model Program for 2019 Graduates

I’m offering a fun twist on the high school picture experience. In addition to senior portraits, I’m also offering a Senior Model Program to teach high school students basic modeling skills. My official spokesmodel (Kat Dawson) will teach a Senior Model Workshop to kick off the program in April. Participants will earn a certificate of completion and then put their new skills to work. I’ll provide a personal portrait consultation prior to the shoot to answer all your questions.

Next, we’ll schedule a Vanity-Fair style photo shoot. I’ll provide much of the wardrobe for that session. The best part is that models will experience what it’s like to get professional hair and makeup and live a day in the life of a model.  Next, we’ll schedule a “regular” high school senior session (complete with hair and makeup) where they can choose their wardrobe and location.

After the models have completed both sessions, we’ll schedule a photo reveal where they can see their portraits for the first time and order an all-inclusive digital package or design a printed portrait collection.

Senior Models Will Participate in a Community Project

Additionally, we’ll work together to “give back” to the community.  It won’t take a lot of time, but it will make a HUGE impact on the community. This year I want to give back to SW Resources. This organization employs individuals with disabilities. I love SW Resources for two reasons: I used to be a  Vocational Rehabilitation counselor.  I helped individuals with disabilities get training and jobs. I know how a hand-up can make a life-changing impact in their lives. Secondly, my son worked at SW Resources for a while. The people at SW Resources were instrumental in giving him direction in choosing a career goal.

I’ll highlight the details of our project in my blog this summer.

Senior Models Can Enroll Until April 15, 2019

It’s easy to apply for the program. No prior modeling experience is necessary! You don’t need a certain “LOOK.” You just need to be you!

The cost of the Senior Model Program is $495 in addition to the cost of the portraits. Applicants can pay in full or take advantage of my payment plan.

Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Model Training led by my official spokesmodel Kat Dawson
  • A private portrait session consultation by me prior to the shoot
  • Professional hair and makeup for two photo shoots
  • A Vanity Fair-styled shoot with wardrobe provided
  • A “regular” senior shoot in the studio or on location
  • A photo reveal where you can view and order your portraits
